Has been a while since our previous stop here. Breakfast going now with dark pancakes, over easy eggs and dark onions/hashbrowns mix. The old diner of downtown area for geezer group here. Always good food. All real good here. Pancakes and hashbrowns not dark, but is normal for most restaurants, they are unable to blacken or even darken either. Still real good though.

Very good sausage and egg breakfast, at a very reasonable price. Friendly and attentive service really added to our experience there. I don't understand the one review where the person is saying it's expensive it certainly isn't. I might've given this a four star, I'm going to bump it up to five because of that other preview, that was totally wrong. Plenty of breakfast choices in the 6 to 8 dollar range, in my opinion that's very inexpensive.

A nice mom and pop cafe. Stopped in for breakfast with some friends. Good portions, well prepared. Service was good. Its standard breakfast fare, but when its done well, its all you need. Will return.

Tex's is one of the last of dying breed. The small corner cafe with all homemade food, daily specials with dessert included. Homemade at Tex's means they made it there, not defrosted and deep fried there. Great breakfast, homemade fried chicken (come early as gone quick on Thursdays) Chicken Fried Steak, hamburgers etc Just good ol' homemade eatin
